Team Fortress 2 on a netbook
This is me playing team fortress 2 on a nettop called the Asus EeeBox EB1012. Specs: Intel Atom 330 dual core overclocked @ 1.8Ghz nVidia ION Graphics chipset 2gb of DDR2 RAM 160GB 5400rpm hdd Although this is not a netbook, it has the same exact specs as the Asus EeePC 1201n. This is just a netbook in a desktop form factor. This shows that TF2 is indeed runnable. Ask me to do show a game and I'll see what I can do. The video is a Dustbowl 15 on 15 match. The lowest the frames ever got to was around 15-20fps. It averaged around 25-30fps. this is me trying to show the worst of the worst for TF2 on this machine. For example, on an arena badlands match 10 on 10 my fps was staying around 40-45fps. This game is very playable on a netbook with a little bit of work. I overclocked it using ASRock not messing with any voltages just the clock multiplier. Correct me if I am wrong, but that is the safest overclock, I did not see any rise in temperatures across the board. I am also using a game configuration from Chris's tf2 configs (just google it) which do butcher the graphics quite a bit, but I'd rather be playing with good fps and bad graphics than good graphics and horrible frames.
